Application

Extra high voltage cable is used widely in power transmission utilities and many other industries involved in water, renewable energy, nuclear and thermal power stations, airports, railways, steel, and other manufacturing industries. Why our Extra High Voltage Cables: Point no. 3: Troester, Germany is a well-known name in CCV lines technology and have supplied more than 250 lines world over. The triple extrusion and CDCC process ensure contamination-free cores. All the three cores are extruded with minimum eccentricity and ovality. The insulation itself is free of micro voids and has negligible moisture content.

Why Our Extra High Voltage Cables

Introduction

KEI, as a leading high voltage cable manufacturer in India has a state of art high voltage cable plant that uses German technology and features a manufacturing capability of upto 220KV.High Voltage cables at KEI are manufactured as outlined with Indian Standard specification, IS: 7098 Part II, also our skilled research & development team can assist manufacturing as per International standard viz. IEC, BS, NFC, AS/NZS, VDE, SABS etc. & exporting to Overseas market.

Application

KEI’s High Voltage Cables include voltage grade ranges in 3.3 kV to 33 kV, suitably ideal for power transmission & distrubution.

Features

KEI offers High Voltage Cables with following special features adopting the site installation requirements.

Why Our HV Cables?

Our High Voltage cables are manufactured using latest in technology triple layer extrusion, with Semiconducting bonded conductor screen, XLPE or EPR insulation and over semiconducting layer in one continous process, ensuring longer cable lifespan with minimal breakdowns. XLPE use in cables ensures excellent Electrical and Mechanical performance, also with lower dielectric factor.

High Voltage Cables

Introduction

Low Voltage Cables come in a variety of sizes, materials, and types, each particularly adapted to its uses. Cables consist of three major components: conductors, insulation, and protective outer sheath. The makeup of individual cables varies according to application.

The construction and material are determined by three main factors

LV cables use stranded copper or aluminum conductors. although small conductor of cables may use solid conductors. The overall assembly may be round or flat. Non-conducting filler strands may be added to the assembly to maintain its shape. Special purpose LV cables for overhead or vertical use may have additional elements such as steel structural supports. Some LV cables for outdoor overhead use may have no outer sheath.
